Corporate Involvement for Sunflower House
Corporate Involvement
Your employees—and your community—will thank you
Fighting child abuse is a community problem that requires the involvement of all.
Sunflower House values corporate philanthropy and the value that it has in meeting the needs of children and families in our community.
Event Sponsorships
Fundraising events put on by Sunflower House or by groups that are fundraising on behalf of Sunflower House provide great opportunities for businesses to showcase themselves as charitable community partners. Events that provide these opportunities are:
Host a Lunch and Learn
Sunflower House abuse prevention educators can provide lunch & learns or other educational workshops on topics related to abuse prevention and electronic/online safety for your business or group.
Adopt An Advocate
Providing services for victims of child abuse and their families can be physically and emotional taxing. Sunflower House considers the health of its staff to be of great importance. By partnering with Sunflower House by Adopting an Advocate, your business or group can help us to better care for our staff.
Hygiene Kit Drive/Assembly
Great for groups or businesses!
Will need to collect new full-size personal hygiene items and assemble into individual bags that will be given to families at Sunflower House.
Items to include but not limited to Soap, Deodorant, Toothbrush, Shampoo, etc.
Donation Drives
Donation drives help keep our teddy bear showcase and snack pantry stocked for our families. Other drives could be back-to-school and holiday drives.
Group Volunteer Projects
Businesses and groups can provide support to Sunflower House through volunteer projects and collection drives to provide for the needs of our families. Specific needs include landscaping and building clean-up projects.
