We’re thrilled to announce that Ms. Njeri Mwangi, Deputy District Attorney at the Wyandotte County District Attorney’s Office, will be joining us as the Guest Speaker for our Circle of Safety Breakfast on Friday, September 8th.

Ms. Njeri Mwangi is a Deputy District Attorney with the Wyandotte County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to assuming this role, Ms. Mwangi was the sexual assault prosecutor in the DA’s office for nearly five years, prosecuting sexual assault cases and working collaboratively with partners and agencies in developing strong and effective responses to crimes ranging from stalking to domestic violence and sexual assault.

Over her career, Deputy District Attorney Mwangi has always been focused on advocating for victims of crime, particularly the young and most vulnerable. She is a member of the Wyandotte County Bar Association, Kansas County and District Attorney’s Association and the Jackson County Bar Association. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Kansas City, Kansas and serves as a board member for the club.
